Through the “European Hydrogen Regions Initiative,” the Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF) is supporting European regions in expanding their hydrogen ecosystems by helping them overcome short-term bottlenecks. Spilett New Technologies GmbH assists the TMF in selecting the most promising regions.

Project description:
The goal of the Toyota Mobility Foundation’s initiative is to identify and support up to five European regions that have particularly promising ideas and approaches for building hydrogen ecosystems integrated into regional infrastructure and local processes.
The focus is on regions that have already begun developing regional hydrogen ecosystems but are now facing financial challenges in establishing a sustainable energy system.
This way, the TMF aims to support these regions in developing scalable, practical solutions, thereby advancing the European energy transition and Europe’s path toward a sustainable and resilient future.
The Toyota Mobility Foundation commissioned Spilett New Technologies GmbH to manage the application and evaluation process for this project.
